The Shasta Courthouse structure was constructed in 1855.  In 1861 it was remodeled into offices, a courtroom, and a downstairs jail.  It remained the courthouse and jail until Shasta County built a bigger courthouse in Redding.  ArcSine was contracted to provide power distribution renovation and lighting design for this historical building and museum.  The design included a facility-wide networked control system, including automatic dimming.  For changing and future exhibits, a felxible lighting system was designed.  Fiber optic light sources were used to provide illumination of selected artifacts.
